Gesture recognition

Gesture recognition

Contactless operation of a vehicle’s systems

Based on our 3D Time of Flight (ToF) technology, and located above the vehicle’s center console, our gesture recognition solution offers you contactless operation of your vehicle’s onboard systems.

The solution is able to detect and interpret hand movements as a gesture, for example scrolling. It can also identify and track finger position and pointing direction in 3D, as well as interpreting finger gestures such as clicking.

The gesture recognition solution recognizes gestures near the sun-roof, at the steering wheel, and for entertainment systems.

A story of growth through innovation, diversification and geographic expansion.

This timeline covers the most important events in IEE’s history, from its foundation in 1989 to the present day.
