Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring that IEE Group standards, especially relating to hardware, software, user and license management, are respected in accordance with the guidelines set by IEE’s IT headquarters in Luxembourg
  • Ensuring daily coordination and operation of the IEE’s IT system in Slovakia
  • Acting as an IT technical expert: level 2 for troubleshooting and analysis
  • Providing level 1 and 2 support for end users, in terms of infrastructure and production-related IT
  • Carrying out day-to-day IT management and monitoring (active and passive maintenance)
  • Acting as a: local IT project leader (within the framework of global IT projects), escalation point for local management / end users
  • Providing tools, training, and support to the end user community
  • Ensuring support to improve user satisfaction and being service oriented

 

Your profile

  • Secondary with school-leaving examination
  • University education (Bachelor’s degree)
  • Good technical knowledge and skills in the following areas:
    • End-user computing support and installation
    • Microsoft Active Directory (2012)
    • Microsoft Group Policy management
    • Monitoring services (Nagios / Check_MK is an asset)
    • Network, DNS and DHCP Protocol
    • VMWare virtualization infrastructure
    • Knowledge of the following areas will be considered an asset
    • ITIL v3 oriented and associated ticketing system (training or certification)
    • Basic Linux knowledge and VEEAM software
    • Microsoft Service Center is an asset
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
  • English fluently in speech and writing
