Your responsibilities

  • Organizing and managing activities as a team leader within the Quality R&D group
  • Being the process owner for Quality R&D activities
  • Leading all HW/SW Quality related activities during development which includes:
    • Following the HW/SW Quality plans by checking work products and process compliance
    • Analyzing customer HW/SW quality requirements and support the allocation
    • Attending product reviews and customer meeting
    • Guiding and supporting the HW/SW teams
    • Exchanging project status with AQE Engineers
    • Supporting test planning
    • Supporting the FMEA, FTA and FMEDA
  • Being the interface for quality activities between HW/SW development, Functional Safety and Advanced Quality Engineering
  • Performing functional safety assessments, confirmation reviews and ASPICE audits
  • Supporting any HW or SW related activity in the later phases of a product lifecycle e.g., change requests after SOP, analysis for 8D reports

 

Your profile

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Strong knowledge/experience of:
    • Development in the automotive industry
    • HW development (Architecture, Testing, EMC, Schematics, Layout) and/or SW development (Architecture, Design)
    • Quality norm IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standard (ISO 26262)
    • People management
    • Project management
  • A good knowledge of:
    • Automotive Quality processes and tools (FMEA, FMEDA, etc.)
    • ASPICE/ Functional Safety assessment and audits
    • Project management, Risk management, Requirements management, Configuration management, Change management
    • Strategy development
  • The following are considered an asset:
    • Experience in hardware or software testing (EMC, Unit tests, Integration tests, SW validation, etc.)
    • Understanding of SW tools (Cetane, Octane, etc.)
    • Experience with statistics tools and requirement management software (e.g. DOORS)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and moderation skills
  • Creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude
  • Flexibility and mobility, willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English is required; all other languages are considered an asset
