Your responsibilities

  • Leading system development tasks, including the analysis, design, integration and testing/validation of Customer Programs from the start-up phase to the final release
  • Developing and selecting new test methods, developing test tools, theoretical studies, etc.
  • Ensuring that the component design meets all performance, quality and manufacturing requirements
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers and suppliers
  • Creating and negotiating specifications, product briefs and technical documentation
  • Developing and managing specific program engineering tools, for example:
    • Technical risk assessment and management
    • FMEA, test validation planning and process control plan preparation
    • Creating and tracking of internal engineering timing plans

 

Your profile

  • An academic degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical or physics is desired)
  • Sound fundamental knowledge of mechanical principles and materials with an appreciation of electrical principles
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation and government/industry standards and specifications
  • Familiarity with data analysis and processing
  • Knowledge of standard business software products (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken) and one additional language German, French or Italian is required.
  • Strong coordination, negotiation, organization, and communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously in an international environment, creativity, team spirit, pro-active attitude
